ICE Out: What Can I Do?
I’m getting this question a lot–and below is my quick and incomplete answer. There are some great, detailed lists of actions that I will also link. These can be overwhelming, so here’s a very short list. See the end of this post to a link to the free protest posters from Fooleryco featured in this post’s header.

Fundamental Actions
Here are some fundamental actions you can take:
- Donate money
- Contact politicians
- Contact corporations and/or boycott corporations
- Amplify the accurate news coming out of Minnesota

Donating money
The GiveMN.org portal is a very easy way to donate to one or more organizations that are directly helping our vibrant immigrant community in the Twin Cities. Once you sign up on GiveMN, you can donate to many organizations easily. There are many more places you can send money beyond GiveMN and I’ll link two master lists below.
Here are some impactful places on GiveMN where you can send money to help people in need:
- Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee
- Unidos MN Education Fund
- Central Area Neighborhood Development Organization
- Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association
- The American Civil Liberties Union, leading the legal defense against ICE actions
